What about organizing singles tours for active pensioners? There are so many lonely elderly folk who would snap up such an opportunity. Not all pensioners want to drive themselves long distances – certainly not females. I am very active … do a lot of walking, meeting up with friends etc., but I think I would draw the line at driving hundreds of kilometers by myself …. just in case!!!

Dear Patricia, in addition to my colleague’s response, Platteland Tours may have opportunities when singles can team up with others who have vehicles, so I wouldn’t rule them out in a self-drive holiday. I will bring this to the attention of Platteland Tours and ask that they respond to your thoughts regarding singles tours for active pensioners and how this could work..
