“You’ve Earned It” is the original and pioneering South African digital and community platform aimed at enhancing the lives of seniors aged 60 and above. Launched as the YEI book in 2008 and operating online from 2011, the platform was created to provide a comprehensive range of exclusive benefits, discounts, and resources tailored to the needs of older South Africans. By offering relevant advice and services, the platform strives to improve the quality of life for seniors, ensuring they have access to valuable information, special offers, and a supportive community. Through these efforts, “You’ve Earned It” seeks to empower older adults by addressing their unique needs and enriching their everyday experiences.
Who is eligible to join You’ve Earned It?
YEI is available to South African seniors aged 55 and older. You must be a resident of South Africa to register and access the platform’s benefits.
YEI has many younger members – those who sign up on behalf of older members of their family, who may not necessarily have access to the internet or have enough data on their phones. YEI welcomes younger members who sign up on behalf of family and friends.
Are there any costs involved in joining YEI?
Joining YEI is completely free for South African seniors aged 60 and above. There are no hidden fees, and all the discounts and resources available on the platform are included in your membership.
