Janine wrote:  Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the lovely prize I received in the Valentines competition……an amazing Afternoon tea at the Cape Grace Hotel. In true pensioner style my husband and I decided to make a day of it and enjoyed a walk around the Waterfront before heading to the Cape Grace for an afternoon of sheer luxury. Fortunately we had not had lunch as the savoury and sweet spread was a meal in itself from delicious sandwiches, tarts, scones and miniature sweet treats. We also enjoyed a welcome glass of bubbly, a choice of teas and ended the afternoon with cappuccinos. The service was excellent and we had a table overlooking the yachts where seals were frolicking in the water. All in all a perfect afternoon…thank you!!

Beverley wrote:  I’ve been a “reading” member of all the perks and opportunities of YEI for quite a long time.  So, last year I decided to enter a competition…Well, what a pleasant surprise  when I read I was a winner!  A member of the Waterfront Marketing team contacted me and explained the whole procedure. What a super friendly chap! Last Thursday  my hubby and I collected the prize …  a ride on the Big Wheel, a scrumptious Fish Platter at Fisherman’s, a 90min sunset cruise, a  R500 voucher to spend at the Waterfront!!!  What a fantastic treat and we were treated like celebs…my excitement couldn’t be contained!  It happened to be a most spectacular sunset as well, followed by a full moon over the ocean!  A huge big THANK YOU to you and the sponsors. It was truly an unforgettable surprise and beautiful day of luxury at one of our favourite places in the world! Speak Up, Be Heard and stand a chance to win R1000!

You’ve Earned It (YEI), in partnership with the UCT Liberty Institute of Strategic Marketing conducted a nationwide survey to better understand the views and experiences of South Africans aged 55 and above.  YEI wanted to hear your thoughts on how people aged 55+ are represented in advertising.  We wanted to hear about your experiences as a consumer.  By taking part, you stood a chance to win 1 of 3 R1000 cash prizes.  Let’s congratulate the winners:
