Spot wildlife on the reserve
At AfriCamps Waterberg, your days are as full or as laid-back as you want them to be. For those seeking adventure, the game drives are not to be missed. On a game drive, you can spot herds of blesbok, giraffes, and even sable and tsessebe as you explore this unspoiled landscape. Rates for pensioners staying during the midweek until 30 November are only R320 per person!
Stargazing like never before!
As night falls, the Waterberg skies put on a show of their own. The astronomy show at Waterberg is a must-see! Imagine lying on a comfy mattress, wrapped in blankets, with a hot water bottle to keep you cosy, as you gaze up at the starry sky. Dr. Phillip Calcott, camp owner and physicist, will guide you through the planets, stars, nebulae, and entire galaxies visible to the naked eye in the crystal-clear, unpolluted skies. It’s a mesmerizing experience that brings the vastness of the universe right to your fingertips. Rates for pensioners staying during the midweek until 30 November are only R280 per person!
Step Into the Past History Tour
Be sure not to miss out on the “Step into the Past” tour, a nostalgic journey through history with the camp host, Juliet! Discover the Davidson House, a living museum dating back to 1910, and explore the Herbert Baker-designed St John’s Church. Learn fascinating tales about the local community’s past and explore artefacts, including an ox wagon once owned by General Louis Botha. Rates for pensioners staying during the midweek until 30 November are only R280 per person!
