Greetings YEI members

Here’s what to expect in the latest issue of the YEI Newsletter. 

In this issue, we have a look at the insights from our Retirement and Financial planning survey, ask you to complete our Health and Wellness survey, have a look at Questions you need to ask before choosing a Retirement village and look at a range of articles related to your income both before and after you retire with the following four articles:

  1. Make sure your savings last as long as you do
  2. Three classic errors retirees should avoid
  3. Control what you can for a drama-free retirement
  4. A pain-free 40% pay rise for retirees

Feedback regarding your comments on the SASSA online application process

You’ve Earned It in collaboration with the Facebook group Pensioners Forum & Deals FB Group  recently submitted a comprehensive list of queries/complaints regarding the applying for and receiving of SASSA grants to SASSA itself and they have replied to us. We have drafted an article on our website detailing these questions and SASSA’s replies and would love to know what you think, we have even included a comment form which we will use to compile an additional document to SASSA in our joint goal to try and assist you.

We do not currently have the capacity to assist on an individual basis but would really appreciate your comments as we really believe that with our combined numbers we can make a difference.
