    Hi there

I think that in today’s current economic climate, to offer 1 point equivalent to 10c is a shocker. I am not sure that the Mint even makes 10c coins anymore. This is worthless and in order to benefit from points you have to spend so much more. “Spend R1000 in 2 month’s to double your points. What pensioner has this kind of money to spend unless they have already provided for themselves above and beyond. This is too much like hard work. It does not inspire me to become a Card holder even though I have a Clicks card.

I’m so glad it’s been changed to every Wednesday, I can never keep track of which day was double points day, and always managed to choose the wrong one. I find the 3 for 2 specials very cost affective, especially at this time of year with my disabled husband, and 10 grandchildren ranging from 21 – 4 years. I can virtually get all I need under one roof. I store my points for the ‘lean’ months, and they really come in tremendously handy. Clicks well done, thank you for considering us oldies but goodies.
    Kind regards

Hello. I am a pensioner with the old card. I would like to use the double points on a Wednesday to put in petrol.
How do I know if the petrol station gives the dounle points? (I have the old card which apparently is auto entry to pensioners discount), do I have to show my ID, and lastly do ALL Shell station’s in the EASTERN CAPE (PORT ELIZABETH) offer the discounts. If not which ones do??
    Thanks in advance.

      Dear Shimmy

Clicks has responded to your query as follows:

Shell double points days are regrettably not determined by us at Clicks, only by our Partner Shell.

The double points day benefit for all Senior customer’s will only apply on purchases made within a Clicks store every Wednesday of the month.

Kindly find attached the participating Shell Service stations within the Eastern Cape, this can also be viewed via our website http://www.clicks.co.za/partners.

In order to confirm if the SeniorClub benefit has been activated on the customer’s profile, we would require confirmation of the Clicks ClubCard number please.

      Kind regards

      Dear Mary

Forever Resorts has many pensioner specials. They are advertised regularly on the YEI platform i.e. newsletter, website and Facebook page. The link to their listing is: https://youve-earned-it.co.za/site/forever-resorts-2/ where you can see all of the information.

      Hope this helps.

I stay in Durban but spent a month in Cape Town on business.
My script is with a Clicks pharmacy in Durban and because I don’t have a Clicks card I was unable to get my meds.in Cape Town.
The pharmacist did input my I/D, initials and surname on the system but the system did not pick me up.
He said there would have been no problem if I had a clicks card.
I feel that Clicks should get their priorities right. Its not always about the money.
