There’s something special brewing in the Southern Suburbs… and no, it’s not just the coffee! The monthly meet-up of the YEI Hub Southern Suburbs group is fast becoming a must-attend event!
On Saturday, 13th September, the YEI Hub Southern Suburbs ladies met for another fabulous brunch – their fourth get-together. The energy, the laughter, the conversations – it’s the kind of morning that leaves you smiling all weekend.
We had 18 lovely ladies join us (our group is now a fabulous 32 members strong), and while we completely forgot to take any group photos – a sure sign of a good time, right? – someone (thank you, Mary!) did manage to capture one of the stars of the show… the delicious spread of snacks to which everyone so generously contributed.

After a bit of brunch brainstorming, we’ve decided to make our meet-ups a regular fixture. Every 3rd Saturday of the month – because life’s just easier when you know when the fun is happening!

10-Minute Member Spotlights!
Each month, one of our talented members will give a short, 10-minute talk about something interesting, because, let’s face it, this group is full of hidden gems!
Next month, we’re delighted to have Laverne, a published poet, share one of her beautiful poems with us. (Go Laverne!). And guess what? We’re already buzzing about a potential beekeeper speaker in January.

We also did a little matchmaking of the hobby kind — here’s what we discovered we love:
Theatre and Music, Walks, Board Games, Garden and Poetry Talks, Crafts, Train Trips, Day Trips and Outdoors, Wine Farm Tastings, Meals Out, Travel, Talks
Members who share similar interests for mini-outings and activities will connect. In fact, a group of the members are off to see Chicago tomorrow — and All That Jazz!
