Trans-50 is an independent, non-profit Section 21 company that owns and manages gracious residential villages for the over-50s, throughout South Africa.  Retirement in a Trans-50 village offers you financial stability, a professional management team and beautifully maintained premises … everything you need for peace of mind. There are already 1200 senior citizens who call our villages home. We adhere to world-class work standards to help us satisfy our residents needs and expectations. Our employees are passionate about providing excellent service to our residents and ensuring their happiness. They take pride in their work, and it shows. Trans-50 employees receive in-house training and participate in ongoing development programmes to hone their skills to perfection.

Each village has a dedicated team of qualified and professional nursing staff in charge of managing the care facilities. Our residents can attest to our emphasis on integrity and world-class service delivery. For transparency and peace of mind, Trans-50 villages promote consultative processes between the residents, employees and the Trans-50 management team. This ensures that your voice — as a resident— will be heard.

The residents of each village elect a management committee which comprises residents, Trans-50 staff members and members of the broader, external community. The management committee meets regularly and drives various consultative processes which include all residents.

Trans-50 has five villages:  Acacia Park in Kimberley, Fichardt Park in Bloemfontein, Jakaranda Park in Pretoria, Panorama Palms in Cape Town and Witfield Park in Boksburg.
