Kwamahla Lodge



Kwamahla Lodge is situated in the North West Province at S 25 degrees 25.172′ and E 27 degrees 31.566′, past Brits and the Hartbeespoort Dam, between Beestekraal and Rustenburg. A mere 1 hour’s drive from Pretoria and 2 hours drive from Johannesburg International Airport and surroundings. Its close proximity to the world renowned Sun City (30 minutes) and Pilanesberg National Park (40km) affords the guest the opportunity to experience the bush and wildlife at the lodge whilst staying in comfortable accommodation in a malaria free area, or to slip away for a few hours and enjoy the entertainment and excitement at Sun City.

Kwamahla offers six thatched chalets with two or three bedrooms and two bathrooms each, amongst various types of indigenous Acacia trees. Our overnight facilities provide for 25 people. Twelve additional sleeper couches are also available, to accommodate a total of 37 people.

For golfing enthusiasts, five internationally and nationally preferred golf courses are within easy reach from the lodge (Sun City, Rustenburg and Brits).

The Vaalkop and Rooikoppies Dams, as well as the winding Crocodile River are in close proximity to the lodge.

Full bar facilities with DSTV for the exclusive use of guests and conference groups. A restaurant is available for catering by prior arrangement.

A swimming pool at the lapa will add to the enjoyment of your stay.

There is also a rustic and secluded boma built around a lead wood tree, with bar and catering facilities

Activities include swimming, bird watching, volley ball, and netball.

African Safari: a safari lodge on a game farm offering game drives and viewing. There are impala, kudu, nyala, blue wildebeest, zebra, blesbok, waterbuck, and warthog.
