In this mid-month special edition, YEI highlights two very important aspects in the lives of boomers, seniors and retirees – recruitment and travel.

Many things in life are changing at a rapid rate –

  • NASA’s Mars science rover Curiosity has just made an historic landing on Mars;
  • Much of South Africa is covered in a blanket of snow;
  • Work in retirement is becoming more commonplace, as 60% of retirees either have to and/or want to work.

In this Newsletter, we are not offering you an extraordinary trip to Mars, but we do showcase some wonderful trips with Elzette Minnaar Tours, and specifically a West Coast tour to see the Namaqualand flowers, and to top it all, an amazing discount for all YEI members. Why not consider this great opportunity?

And on the recruitment front, we have great pleasure in advertising an accounting opportunity that may well be of great interest to many of our members. And if this is not your area of expertise, then consider sending it on to friends, family and colleagues who may find this just up their street.

And while we are on the subject of recruitment, if you know of any business who is looking for skilled and qualified over-50s, please tell them about YEI. We will broadcast such opportunities to our members.

We will be back in a couple of weeks. Until then...

Kind regards,
Marilyn and the YEI Team
